Industrial Devices Corporation

For 25 years, Industrial Devices Corporation (IDC) has been in the business of designing, manufacturing and marketing electronic motion controls and electric linear actuators for industrial automation applications around the globe. Today, major manufacturers and OEM machine builders serving hundreds of discrete manufacturing industries come to IDC for complete, cost effective, reliable, rapid-delivery motion control solutions.

Electric Cylinders
The EC3 series is a robust linear motion package for moderate to heavy thrust loads ranging up to 7200 N [1620 lb] and travel up to 800 mm [31.5 in].  EC3 Series electric cylinders are available with brushless servo, step motors, or DC servo for compatibility with every motion control environment.
Rodless Actuators
IDC offers three sizes of rodless actuators, each with four types of motors.  A robust design using an internal linear motion guide rail and our built-in flexible seal ensures reliable operation in an industrial environment.
Cartesian Systems
IDC offers complete Cartesian Actuator Systems
system, including motors and controls, a driveshaft,
interface brackets, and cable track kits. Factory-based
engineering services include component selection
assistance, CAD drawings of your system, and your
choice: items shipped assembled or as components.
Positioning Tables
Precision Positioning Tables are best
suited for applications where the accuracy and
repeatability requirements are more important than axial
thrust of the drive train. Precision Positioning Tables
can also be used in less precise applications where
adequate moment load support is necessary. Precision
Positioning Tables are ideal building blocks for
complete multi-axis positioning systems.
DC Motor Controls
IDC solves simple positioning applications with our Limit Switch, Analog Position and Edge Guide Controls. These controls give the user the benefits of using electromechanical motion control: precise positioning, velocity control and flexibility, while foregoing the increased cost and complexity of programmable controllers.
Step Motor Systems
For high performance microstepping drives, consider IDC's Impulse and NextStep. These drives use innovative technology to achieve clearly superior step motor performance, and
improve machine throughput.
Servo Systems
If your application requires high performance brushless servo drives, consider IDC’s B8001. These DSP-based, high bandwidth servos use an innovative vector control motor commutation scheme that delivers exceptional shaft power and performance.

Gearheads
IDC produces a large range of in-line and right-angle precision planetary gearheads. IDC Gearheads use 1, 2 or 3 stages of planetary gear clusters in a rugged housing.
IDC offers NEMA flange sizes 17, 23, 34, 42 and 56. They provide exceptional positioning performance and reliability in automated industrial, scientific and commercial applications.
