Challenge:
In a production line, a product is being sliced to a predetermined length. This customer is seeking to increase accuracy, ease of maintenance and speed of operation with a PC control.
Solution:
The cut-to-length requirement is simple and handled with an integrated motion controller/amplifier. A PLC was required for the large number of I/O.
An industrial operator interface was added to provide an integrated PC platform for motion control, I/O, MMI and network.
